The Rose of Versailles manga has been translated into Chinese, Italian, and various other languages. The official English translation is incomplete and out of print. As a fan, I find this news rather discouraging to the English readers. So I have created this section in hope of making more of the manga available to those can read English but don't have access to Berubara in their native languages (1).
This section is divided into 3 parts: Chapters, Key Scenes, and Quotes. "Chapters" contains a complete translation of the manga (in progress). For a sneak peek at the story, see "Key Scenes" or "Quotes."
Here is the key:
Symbol | Usage |
| abc | = speech |
| {{ abc }} | = thought |
| abc | = emphasis |
| ... | = unfinished speech/thought, or pause |
| < ... > | = omission of text |
| ( abc ) | = alternative translation, usually indicates literal meaning (lit.) |
| [ abc ] | = translator's comment, or description of actions/sounds |
Now onto the translations!
Please ask for permission before using the translations for your website. Thank you.
